Introduction to "The Heroes Among Us"

Before this quarter it was a great challenge for me to write an effective summary of an essay or other writings. That is why I decided to include this piece in my portfolio. The assignment was to write a summary in a hundred words or less on the essay "The Heroes Among Us" by Stephen M. Wolf. I believe my summary of this essay is a strong piece of writing because it shows that I can write an effective summary that is very concise and to the point without giving too many unneeded details.
